700 SQ FT: a Scandinavian inspired cozy mountain retreat- The Living + Dining R E V E A L
We spent the entire summer up in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee with the kids
and after months of going though an entire renovation, we are so, so excited to be done with this Airbnb transformation.

Our inspiration for this space was the style of Nordic micro cabins.
Soft and minimal, we loved how cozy the interiors of this style looked and the fact that they weren't overwhelming in nature

Built in the 1980s, this 2 bedroom, 2 bath was true to the 80's
Popcorn ceilings, textured walls and orange cabinets were some of the challenges we encountered.
We ended up ripping it all out, and started brand new and went for a soft yet modern feel that allowed the small space to work better in terms of functionality and space.

Our favorite part in the renovation of this room may have been installing the concrete fireplace and the ambrosia maple beams. The texture and uniqueness in materials really made the space feel finished gave this small space a custom feel.
